My name is Lauren Pankarican and I am the hands and heart behind Produce Wellness. I offer massage and bodywork techniques aimed at improving your health and wellness on many different levels. The intent in every session is for you to leave with not only a relaxed body, but also a relaxed mind and spirit. Since earning my massage therapy license in 2011, I have acquired certifications in massage modalities related to reproductive health, pediatrics, facial rejuvenation, lymphatic drainage, cupping, and more. I would love to use my decade plus of experience to help you meet your wellness goals!
I am a native of Hollywood, FL where I attended the Massage Therapy program at Sheridan College in 2010. Ever since the beginning of my journey into massage therapy, I have possessed a deep interest in women's and children's health and have received numerous certifications towards this focus. My career has largely been spent working alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and other natural wellness professionals. This has given me the opportunity to hone my skills and intuition on patients with a variety of health concerns, but especially chronic tension and pain.
In 2013 I had the privilege to train with the foremost Fertility Massage Therapist in the country, Claire Marie Miller. This opened up my eyes to the immense impact massage and related therapies could have on the body beyond pain management and stress relief. Scar tissue and adhesions could be reduced, posture corrected, nerves could communicate better, the body could be nourished and healed more effectively now that blood and lymph could flow freely! What kind of opportunities could that give to a body that was formerly dysfunctional, stagnant, and stressed? What kind of opportunities does that give to the owner of the body? Fast forward to today and I am still discovering what massage and bodywork can do. And I always will be.
When I'm not busy marveling at the capabilities of the human body, I am likely spending time with my circus of a household which includes, my husband, my daughter, my father-in-law, and 2 dogs. My daughter is currently 5 and my father-in-law has severe dementia, so the comedy never ceases. Nor does the desire to hide in my closet and eat cookies in silence. I enjoy cooking, watching sci-fi and Korean dramas, dancing to salsa music while I wash dishes, and trying to remember what having hobbies was like before responsibilities came along.
I am human. Just like you. Struggling to make time to care for myself. Feeling hopeless sometimes. Picking up a quick, cheap meal that doesn't serve my body because the day has been hectic. And I'm here to tell you it's okay. I will always encourage you on your journey to be a better, healthier you. Because I am on the journey alongside you. We're not going to be perfect all the time. But we will pick back up and try again tomorrow. To eat better. To exercise. To take that bubble bath. To make that doctor's appointment. To get that massage. To set aside time to take care of ourselves and produce some wellness already...pun intended.
